How fast can I expect to gain muscle?

Compared to losing fat, gaining muscle is a much longer process because, unfortunately, your body is only able to build so much muscle at a time.

In addition, your training status will determine how much muscle you can gain as a natural lifter. For example, if you are a beginner who has never lifted weights before or followed a progressive training program, you will be able to gain more muscle compared to somebody who has been training consistently, with hard effort for 3 years.

The best way to ensure that you’re gaining as much muscle as you possibly can is to eat at a moderate surplus (Coach Alice will be able to determine this for you), hit your protein targets, consistently hit your workouts with the proper intensity & continue to progress, and ensure you’re taking recovery seriously (sleep, stress management, etc.).
