Is there an integration set up with certain wearable devices (Garmin, Whoop, etc.)?

While the app can sync with the step count on these devices, you will have to make sure that these apps are syncing to the proper channel, i.e. Apple Health, Health Connect, etc. These are the applications that the BWS+ app will pull step count data from.

Do note, though, that we do not pull information from these devices for “calories burned”. The reason we do not is because activity trackers in general tend to all be poor estimators of how many calories you burn in a given day (PMID: 32897239).

Another reason is because the calorie targets and recommendations already estimate an average amount of calories you burn based on your activity levels you initially set within onboarding. Over time, Coach Alice will also be able to better tailor your calorie recommendations based on the data that you’re reporting to her.
