We understand your frustration ... so let us explain how we can guarantee your results
Level of education of our coaches
We call ourselves Built with Science for a reason. We expect our coaches to have the proper educational background to support a science-based approach when creating their client's program. Our coaches will either have a bachelors or masters in science with a concentration in either exercise physiology, kinesiology or active rehabilitation. Since our company is online we can ensure that we are hiring the best of the best out there! Beyond that, your coach is not limited to just that 1 hour session with you, they are available to provide you ongoing support throughout the day, looking into your progress, modifying your program based on your results, and educating you along the process so you can be successful on your own after you graduate from our program.
The ultimate key to seeing a successful recomposition: Nutrition
A personal trainer is not qualified to give you nutritional plans. Actually, it's outside of their scope of practice. That is why it was essential for us to hire a Registered Dietitian. Beyond just creating you a customized meal plan, RDs are allowed to practice Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), which is working with individuals with medical conditions and treating their disease with nutrition. An example of this is if somebody was just recently diagnosed with diabetes, and we educate them on carbohydrate counting, spacing carbs throughout the day, weight reduction to manage blood sugars, work with their doctor to lower their insulin/medication, etc.
A Dietician must have:
- An accredited bachelors or master's degree
- Complete a dietetic internship (minimum of 1200 clinical hours)
- Pass the commission on dietetic registration exam
- Obtain and maintain their state license
