# How do I cancel my app subscription?

To cancel your Built With Science app subscription, start by opening the app and going to your profile. From there, select “**Your Built With Science Membership (Manage your subscription).**” You’ll be asked to enter your email address. Once you do, check your inbox for a login link. Open the link and choose “**Cancel Subscription.**”

When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. The cancellation simply prevents the next renewal from being charged.

### **Subscriptions Through Apple or Google Play**

If you don’t see an option to edit, it’s likely because your subscription is billed through the App Store, Google Play, or PayPal. We don’t have access to those payment systems, so you’ll need to update your payment method directly through their support pages: Google Play Help, App Store Help, or PayPal.

#### App Store:

1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top, then select **Subscriptions**.
3. Find your Built With Science subscription and tap it.
4. Tap **Cancel Subscription** and confirm.
5. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

#### Google Play:

1. Open the **Google Play Store** app.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top right.
3. Select **Payments & subscriptions**, then **Subscriptions**.
4. Choose your Built With Science subscription.
5. Tap **Cancel subscription** and follow the prompts.
6. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
